Rated 4 out of 5 by from Learning Curve - Do some practicing - Ran a cheap Craftsman for 25 years (it gave out) and bought Skil. There is a learning curve with the Skil. Removed a couple of items, then adjusted the riving knife to lowest position, got the blade parallel to the rip fence. The rip fence has a small bit of play so can get off front to back every time one adjusts. Found how to push the fence towards the blade before lockdown and problem went away. I can make accurate cuts to a 1/16" and the set up and takedown are a snap. The motor is a bit less than the old Craftsman's 3hp and I notice the difference. Use the saw for occasional finish carpentry and small DIY construction needs. On balance, I have come to quite like the saw as I gained experience with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good saw I’m going to give it 5 stars over all. Been a serious woodworker for 40yrs and have owned all types of equipment. I bought them for it’s portability and am pleased with the ingenious way everything fits and stores onboard. While it’s a noisy saw like others have said it does what I need it for just general projects outside the house. While the 10” blade serves the purpose for rough work we’ll, I choose to use my selection of 8 1/2” blades with it. It would probably do well in cabinet making as I’ve used other portables when needed but I have a my Unisaw for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome machine Wow, what a machine. I have had nothing but beautiful cuts (80 tooth fine cut blade added) and love the portability of this machine. Whether I'm ripping long ones or doing some small quick cuts, this thing powers through it. I really have no complaints at this time, have had this for a few months so it's still pretty new to me. Using for home improvement and hobby projects, have had great experiences so far, loving all the features on this saw. AND I bought it online sight unseen, extremely happy with the outcome! I would reccomend this saw to all my friends!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Control Fence is over plumb Owners manual only discusses front-to-back alignment adjustment of fence. No plumb adjustment. Table sags in the middle leaving a 3/32 low cup at the blade from the edges of the table This saw is fine for rough construction but the cup makes it impractical for finish or basic furniture making. Those long rips with that cup will add up if you're edge-gluing stock for a panel top unless you make sure to mark every piece and reverse the cuts to cancel out the cupping angle. Sadly, the only two complaints I have with this saw make it unusable for me. If the saw had better quality control in the precision department, then I would be 100 percent happy with everything else. All spare pieces mount somewhere on the saw when not in use (the blade guard, the anti-kickback device, the miter gauge etc...) and the miter gauge that came with the saw is actually pretty nice surprisingly. I've been using Skil products for decades. Almost all of my power tools are Skil and I have never had a problem. If Skil fixes the quality control on this saw I would buy it again assuming I don't find a replacement in the mean time. If you're a rough carpenter looking for a jobsite saw then I would recommend this, but if you want to try your hand at furniture and finish work, then you will have to pony up the three to four hundred extra for a higher quality tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10" Skill Table Saw 15-amp I am a DYI guy. I had a cheapo table saw for years and got rid of it. I was not worth the electricity to turn it on. I looked extensively at different manufacturers models. I did not want to purchase another cheap saw, nor did I want to purchase an expensive professional saw. For me the middle of the road saw lead me to the Skill 10" -15 amp table saw. I used it to make cuts installing a vinyl floor. I love the machine! It cuts straight and love the features expensive saws have. I would recommend this saw. I am pleased I purchased Skill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great saw for the money As a professional carpenter, I bought this as a portable job site saw. On the whole it's a decent saw for the money. The only fault I find is that the legs are a little spindly and not quite as sturdy as I would like. It is a great saw for the home craftsman or DIYer as it is just as powerful as the more expensive saws on the market. Taking it put of the box, the blade and fence ran true, requiring no adjustment. I built a removable rip extension which fits on the back of the saw for longer rips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Table Saw The rack and pinion system made width adjustments a breeze. The rip fence is square and the measuremenys are accurate. The bevel is spot on also. The table surface is smooth and free of defects and material slides well. The anti kick back features are nice and seem like they wil be effective. I read liked how it came with a miter guide and push stick and both have storage locations on the saw. Motor is plenty powerful for what I need it for and it folds into a compact easy to transport size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great saw for the money. I purchased my first 10" Skilsaw table saw about 4 months ago in Michigan. I really like it but not impressed with fence alignment. When I got to Florida for the winter I decided to buy another saw for Florida. I ordered the TS6307-00. I was so surprised, 4 months later, the advances in the new model. The fence gear drive is fantastic. The folding stand works real well. I am a design engineer and I am very impressed with this saws design, material selection, form, fit and function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pure greatness! This table saw is up there with the Dewalts and other great table saws. I would definitely recommend this over any other over priced table saw with out hesitation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great home use saw This saw was a replacement for a saw I purchased used 5 years ago. The old saw was worn and flimsy. This unit is far from flimsy! It is stout, well constructed for a home use unit. The features are great with storage for all the components. The adjustments to insure true cuts are great. I made a small shadow box as a first project out of a scrap 2 x 4 and some 1/4 inch plywood. It turned out very nice for a novice. My wife was pleased and is using it for a TV remote holder :^)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10” Table saw. Great build quality, durable and easy to set up and use on the worksite and in your home or shop. Two thumbs up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quite possibly the best table saw on the market I have only used it 2 times and it seems to be very good. Then with more time I can provide a better review. It is very pretty and appears to be of very good quality. I think it is the best on the market right now compared to other brands like Dewalt. What makes this table saw better than the others is the Rack and pinion fence rail system for fast precision and micro-adjustment. I recommend it to anyone looking to buy a high quality table saw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very strong and sturdy I got this tool as a professional framing crew and was certainly skeptical of this product being a light duty/ home owners model. Upon receiving it and taking it out of the box I was immediately impressed with the full aluminum construction and how smooth and straight everything was. The rack and pinion slide guard is a great feature that locks in place nicely and accurately. It had no problems cutting 2x4 blocking, 1/2" osb sheathing, and 1x6 in 16' lengths! Cuts were square and straight as well and glided nicely along the guide. All accessories come with their own personal storage spot and the click into place. No slotted trays and always dump your accessories all over the floor in transit. I also liked the fold out legs and strong construction of them. Overall I was thoroughly impressed by this saw and would certainly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Table Saw for the money. I normally would not invest in something like this without a hands-on review, but after comparing this to many other brands on line, I chose the Skil 10 in. table saw based on the Skil reputation. Turned out to be an excellent choice. I was concerned about 1) the foldable legs (these snap into position and provide excellent stability), 2) fence accuracy (the rack and pinion mechanism is accurate from front to back and is rock solid when locked down), 3) miter accuracy (the miter runs tight in the table slot without wobbling and provides accurate miter cuts), and 4) power (no noticeable reduction in RPMs when ripping or cross-cutting hardwoods or softwoods up to 1-1/2 in. Have no doubt it will do well with thicker lumber). While this was a bit more expensive when compared to the competition, it is a long term investment, one which I'm glad I made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best kept secret in portable saws! The most impressive thing about my new 15amp, 10” table saw is the ease and accuracy of the “truly geared” fence. Unlock the fence, turn the knob, and the whole fence moves and stays square with the saw blade. Lock the fence down, and each cut will be exactly the same width. Second is how easy it is to make all saw adjustments. At 52#, the portability is pretty decent, considering how sturdy the saw is after locking the legs in place. At 73 yrs though, it just makes sense to use a small hand cart if I have quite some distance to transport it, or a flight of stairs to climb. Last, but not least, this table saw is very well made, and has many new innovations in comparison to my old (20+ yrs), wore out Rockwell. Price wise, I think this is the best value currently out there if you want a truly, portable table saw. Sometimes you just luck out. :) Ken

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Home shop for DIY projects Accuracy of the fence and miter are right on. Changed the blade for an 80 tooth blade for some smoothness I wanted. Cuts smooth as a babies bottom. On board storage for parts is fantastic allowing unit to be stored/transported easily. Only complaint I have is the Fence came with a cracked plastic part and web site/manual does not explain how to buy replacement parts. Does not cut a 4 x 4 as stated in advertisement.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too much plastic It needed a lot of adjusting. So much that when the blade is at 45 degrees the scale says 44.5 and that is the best I can do. So it isn't for precise work. Also I do not like the plastic table insert. It flexes and makes some cuts imprecise. Also it has already been chipped by wood after just one job. It really should be made if metal. I understand some of the other plastic parts save money but this one should be metal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from YIPPEEE Too early to give this a decent review - however I am excited (its still in the box as of 12/17/20) so Ill follow this up. I expect it to be a good / great product. I have had a skil belt sander and it has endured crazy applications and years of heavy use. So I expect this saw to be great... This saw is replacing a 40 plus year old Craftsman saw... Ill l up date this in a few weeks. once I get my shop rearranged

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgraded from old model I have an old model 3400 that recently had the fence break and there's no longer a replacement offered. So I bit the bullet and upgraded to the new model. I couldn't be happier! This new model is significantly lighter, easily portable, the fence is a dream compared to the old model and the anti-kickback is amazing. I wasn't thrilled about having to buy a new machine because of a fence, but I'm extremely glad I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine Looked at all the different brands and ended up with skil, it rips boards as straight as you will need for flooring and other rough cut jobs. It isnt a cabinet table saw but it also isnt a thousand dollars. Really sturdy legs and eats through laminate flooring with ease. Ive already used it for a couple of other projects and am really happy I went with this instead of the more exlensive job site table saws.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Portable and lightweight saw This is an awesome table saw. First, you don't have a bulky stand to mess with. The legs fold out and that makes this saw very compact. It isn't too heavy or cumbersome to lift and set up. It was easy to dial in at 90° and 45°. Also, easy to dial in the rip fence. Have used it on the jobsite and it was a breeze. The main reason for purchasing was the portability. Couldn't be happier with this saw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from outstanding saw This is the first Skill product I have owned. It will not be my last! I am nothing but totally impressed with this saw. It has more than enough power for anything I can throw at it. This saw was dead square and accurate right out of the box. Super simple set up, and the adjustable leg is a God send if you have an uneven floor in your work area. Thank you for making such a superb product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this saw!!! This. Is a great and versatile tool for the hone shop. I am so very pleased with how easy it was to set up and at its performance. Best of the best is the rack and pinion fence controls. Really worth the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great double locking fence This saw has everything I was looking for, metal top, double locking fence, adjustment wheel for fine tuning your setup and easy folding legs for mobility. Good powerful motor, metal fence and I live that you can hook your shop vac to the rear for almost dust free working. Nothing bad to say about this saw after using it for a few months, highly recommend for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Table saw needs a better Table insert. I like the saw, it does what my old saw did. I'm not at all happy with the TABLE INSERT, IT'S THE THINNEST PLASTIC and so flimsy it needs replacing already but with what? I want something that will take the weight and action of a Micro-Jig Gripper- push block. I may have to buy a replacement and try to beef it up with more plastic and some Epoxy....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good buy Surprisingly well built, needed a bit of tuning to get it to run true but nothing huge. It’s as loud as they say but changing blade improves a bit. Overall very satisfied with the purchase. The legs are very efficient and it takes up less space than saw plus stand. Dado stack limit is a little on the small side, if I would criticize anything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Skil 10 “ 15 amp table saw This table saw is as good if not better than ones costing a couple hundred more dollars. It has a rack and pinion fence that makes for accurate and stable cuts, it has 4 fully collapsible legs that are sturdy when using the saw cutting is about waist high no wobble either. It has plenty of power and cuts beautifully, I’m glad I purchased it

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Foot for the leg. The skill table saw came with one missing foot on the folding leg l would like to get the foot so that the saw wouldn't rock back and forth l have to put a board under the leg to use it safely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good enough is AOK with me ! @ 77 I'm no novice when it comes to tools, fact is I'm a tool nut, having said that I'll just say this, with all the good competition in this market its not easy to shine, this saw does, is it perfect nope, but for the money you get a saw that for a home owner will be more then adequate, as a job site tool I'm not the guy to ask.
