Shipping is really free!*
We provide Free Standard Ground Shipping on all orders shipping within the contiguous 48 U.S states. Orders shipping via our FREE SHIPPING offer will ship utilizing one of the following carriers (FedEx or USPS). Carrier choice for FREE SHIPPING is at the discretion of Tools Plus. If you require a certain carrier to be used, it may be available at an additional cost.
*The only exceptions are: appointment fees, missed truck freight deliveries, storage fees, etc. with items shipping via truck freight. Customer whose addresses who are deemed “remote” by the carrier of choice may be subject to additional fees.
What about truck freight?
We also provide Free Shipping & Free Lift Gate Service on all regularly stocked products over 150 lbs. via Truck Freight within the contiguous 48 U.S states. This includes products such as: large air compressors, generators, pressure washers, machinery etc.
Lift gate service means the freight is simply lowered to the ground. It is the customer's responsibility to move it from there. Tools Plus recommends adding lift gate service for freight deliveries if you do not have a loading dock or forklift at the delivery address. Arrangement for a lift gate delivery may involve an extra day or two shipping time.
Any shipments over 1500 lbs. might damage a lift gate and therefore will require the customer to have a forklift with a loading dock to unload (please consider this prior to scheduling delivery). The driver is only required to get the product or pallet of product to the edge/door of the trailer.
More about truck freight:
Machinery and some very large orders may be delivered by a large (18-wheeler, in most cases) truck. The truck must be able to access the place of delivery.
All our shipments are carefully wrapped (and strapped to a skid, if necessary), for added protection.
Please inspect all packages upon delivery. Any damages or shortages MUST be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery.
Please make sure to retain a signed copy for yourself. Please notify the carrier and us immediately regarding the damage (no longer than 48 hrs.). By U.S commerce law, all damages are the responsibility of the consumer once a delivery is signed for. We will assist as fully as we can.
(If applicable) Please take note of the voltage and phase of the machine you are ordering. If necessary, check with your electrician.
Charges may apply if the customer is not present when delivery is attempted.
Multiple packages or multiple shipments:
Your order may ship in multiple packages depending on the quantity or size of the items. Also, items in your order may ship from multiple warehouses and arrive in separate deliveries.
Note for purchases $750+:
Please note that orders over $750 will require a signature upon delivery. This requirement is meant to be a protection for you as the buyer.
Do you ship outside the U.S?
Unfortunately not at this time. Tools Plus only ships within the contiguous 48 U.S states which excludes: Alaska, Hawaii, the Virgin Islands, Guam, other U.S protectorates, Military APOs/FPOs and all international locations.
How fast do you ship?
Our goal is to ship all orders for stocked merchandise received by 1:00pm E.S.T. Monday-Friday within 24 hours. Every effort is made to ensure that your order is sent the day it arrives.
Next day, 2 day, 3-day select air service does not include Saturday or Sunday. If Saturday delivery is required, please call us and we will do our best to deliver your items when needed!
How do you package my product?
An Important note regarding pre-opened packages we ship!
In order to ensure your item arrives in the best condition possible and to avoid any possible shipping damage, some products may be opened by us before shipped out to you in order to add extra packing material. We open it only to assure your order arrives in the same condition as it was when shipped to us.
