Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sunday morning trimming! I've owned it for over a year now and am only reviewing it now because I feel I've used it enough to give an experience based opinion. These are beasts. I have used the 10" attachment for pruning and lately for getting rid of a broken 14" thick red pine that was up rooted by a recent storm. The 10" saw didn't even flinch! It took care of it all, branches and trunk, what a purchase. Oh, and did I say I did it all a Sunday morning and I bothered no one! That's right, it's quiet. Not hush quiet, but far from a typical gas powered chainsaw. The chainsaw stayed in the garage and the attachment came out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hurricane tested I don't write reviews very often, but this product was well worth it! I used this periodically for routine yard maintenance, but really put it to the test cleaning up after hurricane damage. We had large branches everywhere and several trees down around the neighborhood. I probably should have used a larger chain saw for some of the bigger trunks, but wanted to put the pole saw to the test. I was stunned at how well this worked. I made it through 3 yards worth of cleanup on a single charge (probably 3 medium sized trees worth). My only small gripe - the clip holding the harness to the unit keeps popping off. Looks like I've bent the carabiner a little too much. Overall - definitely worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from simply gets the job done. Entire system is great. Saw is fantastic. 6 inches and sometimes more is fine. Only challenge is with short chain it will dull quicker than a longer chain but as short chain it takes no time to sharpen either. It gets a little unwieldy when on the 3 ft extension but it's way better than getting on a ladder with a chain saw.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Damaged bar I recently bought the M18 FUEL™ QUIK-LOK™ with all the attachments and one was the 10" Pole Saw Attachment. I used it for about 15 minutes and a branch about 1.5" in diameter which is quite small pinched the bar and bent it badly out of shape to the point that the chain was bound. I am extremely disappointed. I have cut many many trees and have several chainsaws and pole saws and have yet to damage a bar after getting it pinched. For the bar to be damaged so quickly and on such a small branch is unacceptable. I have a lot of milwaukee tools and equipment that I enjoy and rely on it and they do well but this has greatly disappointed me due to low quality. Adding insult to injury, the cheaply made bar (48-09-5001) that I need to replace can't be found for purchase anywhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cuts great with one little coming problem This thing is awesome. Used it a lot lately. It cuts great. Gets plenty of power. I love using it, it’s so light compared to the pole saw setup with the Stihl combi system I use in my day job. I was worried it wouldn’t balance great cause I don’t like the weed eater head on this quik lok system for that reason but it’s balanced great. You don’t get overly taxed from manipulating a power head or the attachment side either even with extensions. But the tensioner screw for chain needs more depth for tightening the chain. It almost bottoms out to get the chain right.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed Bought the 10" pole saw with high hopes but about 30 minutes after I started trimming I noticed it was making a ratcheting sound like the chain was jumping the drive sprocket. After a close inspection I saw the Bar Mount Housing was cracked. Took it to a Milwaukee service center and they sent it in for repair. Two weeks later I got it back but I don't think it is the same one they sent in because the chain is worn and dull but the Mount Housing was good so I gave it run. It immediately started making the ratcheting sound like a hammer drill and would not cut like it should. Can actually see the chain stopping and starting for a spit second. Is there a clutch slipping? Or the chain jumping the drive sprocket? I'm very disappointed because I have a cabinet full of Milwaukee tools that I love, work great, and never a problem over the last 30 years but this one is not one I'd buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Annihilates it's competition I'm a review type of guy. I'm saying it took me two weeks to finally make this purchase. But I'm happy I chose Milwaukee. It does what I needed it to and then some. From trimming the lower branches to the 3" - 4" branches. Heck I take it camping with me also. Or when I'm out on my side by side needing to clear a trail. Its wonderful. I highly recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great saw, having trouble getting parts. I have trimmed over 200 trees. Battery life is great and saw cuts great. I finally got saw stuck and damaged the chain bar, can't find the part anywhere. Milwaukee website doesn't list it!
