Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Satisfied Customer Like all the other reviewers who complained about being unable to remove the bit from the holder, I had the same problem and it was a 22 PC set that I had for years unopened until today when I wanted to use my Impact Driver. I discovered that because of the magnet the bit requires a pair of pliers to pull it out and it worked. It may be a pain for some but as was pointed out, you don't end up with your bit popping out at the end of the job and that is some magnetic strength. So glad I did not write it off after reading the first couple of reviews. I think that in time with regular use, you wont need a lot of pull to pop the bit out of the holder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stuck bit solved I have had the same issue everyone else here has had...stuck bits. You can remove them by hand but due to the magnet and C-ring it does just pop off. Hence the guarantee of not loosing your bit on the job. Take the extension with the stuck bit and while pulling out, twist the bit back and forth and it comes right out. After you use this for awhile, it will break in. I originally had a YouTube video posted to help but Milwaukee doesn't want me to help you. This will have to do, sorry guys.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unable to remove bit I am unable to change bits. I inserted a Robertson #1 bit and no matter how I try, I cannot remove the bit. There are no instructions on the package nor on the Milwaukee web site. Neither are there any details to advise the user how the bit holder should be employed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice All you have to do is twist the bit back and forth as you pull. It’s in super tight but I’d rather it be tight than loose. I did this a few times until it was easier each time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Quality reacts like all bit holders People all bit holders no matter what mfg you buy get stuck bits. Can't get around it. It's the nature of the beast. Friction heat and impact distort mechanisms. So, I would suggest buying additional extensions and dedicate them to each bit you use . In some cases you get the extension stuck in the impact driver itself and I find the easiest way to get it out is chuck up the extension in a bench chuck still attached to the impact driver and squirt some W D 40 in the adjoining chuck and wiggle it free.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I expected better from Milwaukee Purchased a brand new 45 piece Shockwave bit set to go with the new impact driver I received for Christmas. Got it home and tried a couple bits in the short and long extensions and now...... BOTH are stuck. Tried both piers and channel locks and couldn’t remove at all. I read the Milwaukee advice to bench chuck and use some WD-40 and pliers, but why should I need to do that? There has been ZERO torque applied to these bits. If certain bits are not meant to be used in the extensions, tell the consumer. There is virtually zero information that I can find about how or why this would happen and nothing in the package either. I’m a big believer in Milwaukee and these bits seem very-well made, was really looking forward to adding them to the tool box, but back to the store they go. Only 1 star because apparently, the extensions can only be used once. So disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy I bought this along with a pack of also Milwaukee #2 Philips bits. Put the bit in for the first time to see how it fits and even with players unable to remove it. Never put an inpact on it. The bit holder holds it alright but hope you never plan tk put a new bit in there. I plan to go to homedepot today and return both.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from stuck bits Instead of replying with an email how about you reply with the cure, is there a magic touch we should know about or should I just go on youtube to figure it out. I did, just twist the tip in the extension and pull. New bit hold better, worn one is easy. comn milwaukee just post a reply that helps everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
