Experienced DIYer. New second battery doesn't charge after 2 years. I own four M18 tools. Never another Milwaukee battery tool.

Big power, small package
I just picked up and charged these this morning. I compared it to my also freshly charged XC 5.0 and 8.0 HO batteries. The audible difference alone in my fuel impact driver between the 3 batteries was enough to perk my ears. I just played around driving some 2 1/2 screws into some scrap and the difference is noticeable. I'm excited to try them in my mid torque later to see if they could make as many beans as the 8.0 does. The impact wrench is a bit unbalanced with it, as you can imagine, but not unbearable. I think Milwaukee has found a replacement for the 5.0 that is ubiquitous in kits.

Great all around M18 Battery
This is my go too battery for my M18 lineup. It's got plenty of power to run my 10" Miter saw if I'm only using it for light duty cutting. It pairs amazingly well with my 6.5" Fuel circular saw not too mention how much better my impacts and drills run using this battery. I have 7 of these 3ah batteries that I replaced my 5ah batteries with.

I don’t know ??
I don’t know if they have been on the shelf for awhile but I used them today for the first time and they run out fast from just cutting pvc pipe . All my other batteries last twice as long

Low battery life
A quick follow up to my previous review, I used a fully charged battery in my vacuum and only got about 10-12 minutes total run time. I'm kind of at a loss, all my other Milwaukee batteries are excellent and my 2.0 seems to outlast these. Attached is a picture of what was vacuumed.
