Rated 1 out of 5 by from Died three times Basically I like the saw. Much lighter than my Skilsaw. Had the saw less than a year and it started cutting out and the finally quit. I sent to e-service for repair. Two week I got it back. Worked fine for a while and then it did the same thing again. Sent it to e-service. Two weeks I got it back. Worked fine for a while and then it did the same thing again. I have contacted Milwaukee but no one has replied. There has got to some other problem with this saw. I guess I will be sending it to e-service again. I wish my saw worked right so I could got it a 5star.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent duty saw choice I've abused this tool and it loves it. I have several Milwaukee products that I use exclusively at work and some are dedicated for home. Well built and rugged. Matches or beats the cut depth of the competition. The battery draw is reasonable. The weight of the tool is light and it feels well balanced with a 3.0 to 9.0 battery A light on it is unneccessary for me , but it would be convenient if it came with one I've used it hard , but have never had a problem with the hex key although I've probably only changed out the blade 30 times.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Milwaukee is dropping the ball. I use to love Milwaukee, they seemed to always have great tools and good customer service. This has since changed in my experience. The circular saw lasted about 11 cuts on pine 2x4 studs before the motor went out. This, along with a Milwaukee weed trimmer, have been in a Milwaukee authorized shop for 5 weeks and they haven't even touched them due to lack of parts support from Milwaukee. Milwaukee has stopped responding to my emails, and hasn't offered to make it right or even an explanation. I'm done buying their tools.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good saw, one flaw. I just bought this M18 Fuel 7-1/4" circular saw, and it's a fine saw. The trouble I have with it is that I do a lot of metal roofs, so I use the saw up high, cutting boards and metal panels, frequently switching between a wood blade and metal blade. This saw's holder for the allen key to change the blade sucks. It doesn't hold the key very well, and the key keeps falling off the saw down to the ground. Up the ladder, down the ladder, up the ladder, down the ladder... for the cost of this saw why isn't the holder better? Magnetic? Come on! Very disappointed in this oversight in the design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wanted to like this saw, but... I made the full battery switch in Jan.2020, w/ the exception of a few tools. I was excited at the promise of a battery saw that delivered better than corded, as Milwaukee claimed. The first deck proved most all their claims wrong. Multiple battery changes per day, 3-4 minimum, ripping 2x lumber w/ this saw is just SAD, the weight is unpleasant for all day cutting, and the battery placement is awkward to reach over. The line of sight to the L of blade is not good either. I have tried to like this saw, and have kept in my truck for an entire year. For the occasional cut here and there, or the cuts made in the lumber yard, it’s fine, but then again so was the wimpy Mikita battery saw I disposed of prior to this. I just went and purchased a new “corded” Makit 5007MGA, the same saw I foolishly gave away, when trying to commit to battery power only. If you’re a pro, and push your saw daily, stick w/ your favorite corded saw. I will probably get Milwaukee’s 6” battery saw, for that occasional cord free cut, but that’s about it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from still. a good tool I can see my cut better with the dewalt flex volt 7 1/4" saw. Dewalt also has more power and lasts longer on a single charge. I like my saw though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I've had this saw for a year or so and it has had light use. It started making a rumble sounds a week ago and now it is a full on scream. The blade lock no longer works and it seems as if the blade brake is shot. Don't get wrong, I have been a long time customer of the m18 family but this saw is missing the target.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blade to shoe alignment Great power. Too heavy. Blade to shoe alignment is off by as much as a blade on some saws. Loud bearing like rattling noise under no load conditions
