Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tool with one aggravating issue This is a great and versatile tool. I have shied away from multi-tools like this in the past because usually it's never very good at anything, just mediocre at best. This tool is very good and plenty powerful for it's intended purpose. The glaring issue I have found is that the offset drill head uses a magnet to hold the drill/driver and not a ball bearing collar. This means the drill leaves the bit in the wood as I'm pulling it back out. Also, I've had the driver bit get pulled out of the attachment after driving in a screw. Not fun when you're up on a ladder and dropping items on finish pieces or co-workers. I'd like to see this attachment updated and an option for us Gen 1 owners to swap out for the fixed version.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still haven’t made up my mind It is incredibly handy, swapping from 90 to drill chuck to hex chuck. However there needs to be an extension to push the 90 farther from the tool. It is just too close. My big concern/complaint, the teeth that lock the chucks from spinning to the tool slip. I have had it do this multiple times, especially when using the 90. It jumps and I have to stop what I’m doing to readjust the angle. Anytime there is slipping like this you have to be concerned with teeth rounding off. How long are they going to last. I was shocked by the torque this little tool has. I was able to drill through double top plates and joist. I just don’t know if it was a good buy yet....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very close to a great tool But needs a couple of very minor things changed to make it a great tool. First, replace the electronic button for forward and reverse with a traditional thumb slide switch like every other drill / driver has. And second, make the hand-guard removable, so it can be there as a hand grip when you need it, but, when you need to get into tight places, it can be removed. These 2 things bring this tool down to a lower level then it actually is. From a functional standpoint it is great, does everything as it should, but with 2 minor changes it could be the best tool of its type.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little tool Only had this tool for a little while so here's what we did: Bored holes in a slab for door knobs using 2-1/8" & 1" hole saws with 3/8" chuck attachment. (Powered through in low speed High speed was a little sheepish) Drove 2-1/2" wood screws in 2x4"s using 1/4" Hex head attachment. Cut 1-1/4" holes in 3/8" porcelain tile using 3/8" chuck. Loved the magnetic tray. Holds bits & screws well. I can say that the offset head attachment will not made it easier to install standard doorknobs as it is too big for the bit to align straight with the screw. Nevertheless I am happy with this as an upgrade from my 2402 M12 Fuel Hex Screwdriver. I think I'll get the 48-32-4507 bit set to compliment it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great size & shape, good features, no impact drive First off, the disappointment. There isn't an impact driver, and once you are used to them it is very hard to go back. It sure seems like it would have been any easy addition, the main driver head is sizable, metal, and locks into place on the front of the unit, I don't know why they didn't put an impact unit into it. Huge miss considering most people are going to drive screws with it 90% of the time. The drill head is also only a 3/8" chuck so it won't hold a standard hole saw holder so it's missing another important bit of versatility. Otherwise its a pretty cool tool, the head swaps are slick & I like the magnet bit holder area.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Favorite “go-to-drill” This is currently my favorite drill to use. Obviously, depending on your line of work, a specific drill will fit the bill, I specialize in remodeling/repairs. The driver is awesome for adjusting cabinets. When other installers come on site and get stuck due to lack of space or “can’t figure a way to get a drill in”....out comes the M12 driver and you can detach and mount on an angled head for the application. Doesn’t have the horse power as impacts/heavy duty power drills, but I like the light weight of it and the control of the speed. Switching forward/reverse takes a bit to get used to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow what an incredible little tool I had my reservations when I first bought this Installation driver but it has been not only a godsend but has become the first tool I grab for anything from cabinets, to driving a couple lag bolts when I dont want to drag my Makita 18v impact up a ladder. This thing has power and not a little bit I have sunk well over 300 3 inch screws on one 3ah battery. Not only that but you would figure the right angle or offset could not handle the torque this thing produces but they are an even match even when driving screws into 100yr old fir. I would recommend this to anyone from the household user to commercial contractor well worth the price and more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new go-to tool What a Gem! This is a sleeper, a real handy package. The tool itself allows you to get into those tight places without damaging the surrounding area, or the work itself. No more rounded screws or elongated drilled holes. It is light enough you have good control over the operation, and enough power to get the job done. The ratchets are light so you do not cross-thread or strip screws The carrying case is great because you have places for tool bits. Just buy a third battery and leave the charger home. You can put a Milwaukee bit box in its place with everything you might ever need. Also, room for other tools to boot.. my new go-to tool!
