The only reason I’d give this a 4 is that the magnet is actually a little overkill. I’ve got boxes and boxes of dewalt and Milwaukee impact bits, drill bits, socket adapters, nut drivers, etc. so I bought this but holder the other day to try one out before I bought a set. I run Diablo blades on all my saws, an extensive list that I don’t need to get into. I swear by Diablo blades. I’m not sure if these bit holders have a better release with Diablo bits, but I will tell you that with dewalt and Milwaukee bits, you need pliers to change them out...maybe that’s why they call them “permanent magnets,” but I want to be able to change bits without breaking them. So yeah, Diablo, you have one heck of a magnet! I hate giving it a 4 but when I need pliers to change bits, it slows me down. However, I’ll grab a box of Diablo bits tomorrow and see if there’s a difference.
