Dewalt Tools
DeWalt Tool Company began its legacy in the 1920s with the introduction of the radial arm saw by founder Raymond E DeWalt. The company began sales in 1923 with great initial success and by the 1940's, DeWalt Tool was selling saws in conjunction with American Machine Foundry (AMF). Over the years, DeWalt Tools moved out of the radial arm saw market in the U.S. and focused its attention on their newly emerging lines of corded and cordless power tools. In the past decade, DeWalt has established itself as one of the leading cordless power tool manufacturers and today they have over thirty choices of 18 volt tools alone.
