The brushless motor helps to provide up to 2.5x more run time** to get the job done. With a 1-1/8" stroke length and a variable speed trigger delivering up to 2,900 strokes per minute, this saw is fast and efficient. It also features a keyless, lever-action 4-position blade clamp for quick and easy blade changes in four directions for a variety of applications including flush cutting. Favorite tool on my truck
This sawzall is unlike any other one I have used. It is very compact compared to its competitors. I own multiple of this model and will continue to buy when I need it. Highly recommend this to anyone in the field or even someone just looking to use it for home use.

Perfect for hard to get to areas
This is the perfect size for them spots you can't get to with normal size reciprocating saw. The 4 way blade option is awesome, I think all future reciprocating saws should have it as a standard. The only downside is the vibration, be careful and hold on tight. Another awesome dewalt tool to add to your arsenal.

Great but Disposable
I have had four of these seize up on me in the last 3 1/2 years. They are compact and powerful. The model is compact enough to fit in tight spaces like joist and stud pockets to notch straight back. The four position blade option is nice, some hold blades tighter than others. I wish the guard were adjustable and that they were built to last at least three years for the investment. Overall it is a great saw but unfortunately disposable.

Shows no mercy
Love love love this saw I use this thing all around the house built a add on shed and just finished cutting fence post around the farm. Lightweight great pair with a 6 or 8 ah battery. Never bogs down either!
