Overview

The Bosch RA1129 Template Guide Set features the RA1126 Quick-Change Template Guide Adapter plus the RA1100 Interface for Threaded Template Guides. The quick-change adapter accepts Bosch RA-series template guide (sold separately in a wide array of sizes). It also accepts the RA1100 interface piece, which allows the template guide adapter to accept Porter-Cable and similar common threaded template guides (and reducer inserts) that fit into a 1-3/8 In. counter-bore. This template guide set works with many Bosch routers, including the 1613AEVS, 1617-, 1618-, 1619- and MR23-Series routers, as well as the plunge bases for Bosch palm routers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Allie from Too tight, but accomplishes the task The piece that snaps in and actually holds the PC bushings was slightly too tight. I had to use a vice grip to get the guide bushing in. The pieces are now *almost* flush. I did a quick test and didn't notice any issue with my bit hitting the edges, but I'm also trying to keep my bit fairly shallow out of centering concern. These pieces seem to work well other than the frustration and half an hour it took to get the bushing in, and that quick snap piece is now dedicated to that particular bushing. This seemed to be my only option anyhow, so I made it work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by RogerM from Not centered Like the other person has stated, it's not centered and causes the bit to hit the side of the bushing. It's pretty much useless for its intended purpose.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad Matt from Is not centered This destroyed my bushing and template. I originally thought I had a defective bushing. However, I purchase a new lettering set and discovered the actual problem is the RA1129. The one I purchased does not center the bushing on the router bit. The bit contacts the bushing on one side.
